The P&L This Year card splits your gain into what you've actually booked and what's still on paper. Below it, a year-by-year view shows the tax that follows the booked part.
Realised vs Unrealised
On the card, Realised is the gain from holdings you've sold this financial year — it's locked in. Unrealised is the paper gain on what you still hold, which keeps moving with prices. Only the realised part has a tax attached.

A single year's realized gains, estimated tax, and the sales behind them.
Note: Gains are matched using FIFO — your oldest units are counted as sold first. Hover a row's type to see its Lot breakdown: which purchase each sold unit came from, and whether it counts as long- or short-term.
The tax figures are estimates to help you plan, based on the current financial year's rates and the ₹1.25L long-term exemption — the header notes they use FIFO and exclude brokerage and STT.
