Gold, PPF, FDs & Other Assets

How do I add an asset beyond the stock market?

Understand the Assets section and pick the right category before you add.

Updated 22 Jul 2026

Not everything you own trades on an exchange. Assets is where gold, PPF, FDs, property and the rest live — anything you value by hand rather than by a live market price.

Open the Assets section

Click Assets in the sidebar. You'll see summary cards and a table of what you already track. To add something, click Asset in the top-right.

The Assets page — the Asset button is top-right.

Pick a category

The Add Asset form opens on Pick a category to get started. Choosing the right one matters — each category asks for the details that fit it (gold wants a weight, an FD wants an interest rate).

Nine categories — from Fixed Deposits to Gold (Physical) to Vehicle.

Pick Fixed Deposits, PPF / EPF / NPS, Real Estate, Gold (Physical), Insurance, Cash & Savings, Vehicle, Commodities or Others. The next screen is the form for that category — the linked articles below walk through the common ones.

Note: Every category is value updated manually — you set what it's worth. The exception is gold and silver, which follow the live rate once you enter a weight.
