SIPs

How do I pause, edit or stop a SIP?

Pause, resume, edit the amount or step-up, or stop a plan for good.

Updated 22 Jul 2026

Life changes, and so do SIPs. From a plan's page you can pause it for a while, change the amount, or stop it altogether — the controls all sit in the top-right.

A plan's actions: Pause, Link Transactions, Edit and Stop.

Pause and resume

Click Pause to stop new installments generating without ending the plan. When you're ready, the same button reads Resume to pick it back up. Nothing you've already invested is affected.

Edit the plan

Click Edit to change the SIP Amount, Frequency, SIP Date (day) or Annual Step-up. Save, and future installments follow the new settings.

Change the amount, date or step-up — past installments stay as they were.

Stop a plan

Click Stop to end the SIP for good. It stays in your list, greyed out, so its history and the units you bought are all still there.

Note: Pause is temporary and reversible; Stop ends the plan. Either way, the installments you've already made — and their units — are kept.
