SIPs

How do I link past transactions to a SIP?

Attach earlier purchases in the same fund to a SIP plan.

Updated 22 Jul 2026

Already been running this SIP by hand, or imported it from a statement? Attach those earlier purchases to the plan so its history is complete — no duplicates, no gaps.

Link past transactions

Step 1: Open the linker

On the plan's page, click Link Transactions. ProjectionWealth scans your existing purchases in the same fund and opens the Link Past Transactions window.

Step 2: Review the matches

Purchases that line up with the SIP's amount and dates appear under High confidence, already ticked. Looser matches sit under Possible — click to expand and pick any that belong. The Tolerance setting controls how many days' wiggle counts as a match.

High confidence matches are pre-selected; open Possible to add more.

Step 3: Link them

Click Link — the button shows how many you've selected. Those purchases join the plan and stop showing as loose, one-off transactions.

Tip: This is the tidy way to fold in a SIP you imported from a CAMS or KFintech statement — link the imported buys instead of re-creating them.
