How do I add a fixed deposit or recurring deposit?

Record an FD or RD with its interest rate, tenure and maturity date.

Updated 22 Jul 2026

A fixed or recurring deposit is simple to track: what you put in, the rate it earns, and when it matures. Enter those and ProjectionWealth carries the rest.

Add a deposit

Step 1: Choose Fixed Deposits

In Assets, click Asset and pick Fixed Deposits.

Step 2: Fill in the details

Give it a Name, the Total Invested, the Interest (%), the Tenure (months) and the Maturity Date. Add the Bank / Post Office and Account / Folio Number if you'd like to keep them on record. Then Save.

Interest, tenure and maturity are all it needs to track the deposit's growth.

Note: A recurring deposit works the same way — add it under Fixed Deposits and record each monthly instalment as a deposit on the asset's page.
