How do I clear my data or delete my account?

Switch theme, selectively clear data, or delete your account entirely.

Updated 23 Jul 2026

Two very different settings share the bottom of the page: a harmless one for how the app looks, and a serious one for wiping data. Worth knowing both — especially where the point of no return is.

Appearance

Under Appearance, pick Dark, Light or System (which follows your device). It's a display choice only — nothing about your data changes.

Appearance is cosmetic; everything in the Danger Zone is permanent — the red buttons don't undo.

The Danger Zone

Everything here is irreversible. You can clear selectively rather than nuke everything:

  • Clear All Data — removes assets, transactions, SIPs, liabilities and goals.
  • Clear Transactions Only — wipes the trade history but resets assets to zero rather than deleting them.
  • Or clear just SIP plans, liabilities or goals on their own.

Deleting your account

Delete My Account is the final one — it removes your account and everything in it, for good. You'll be asked to confirm with Delete Account before it happens.

Before you clear anything: run an export first. A downloaded CSV is the only way back once these buttons do their thing.
